This isn’t me, but today was one of those days where it all feels worth it. I got up feeling light and the scale confirmed my feelings and then when I was getting dressed for church my belt went past its normal notch, which is AWESOME. Since I was feeling good I decided to go for a run with no watch, no Garmin, no heart rate monitor, no specific route or plan. Just me and Pandora radio. My goal was to run for the fun and enjoyment of it. If I went two miles, fine. 10 miles, great. All I wanted to do was run for running. I thoroughly enjoyed my time outside today. I took a couple of walk breaks and soaked up the time and scenery.  I really need to do this more often. When I got home I used mapmyrun and saw that I went 7.3 miles. I have no idea how fast I went, but I know it wasn’t fast and that I actually enjoyed the entire run.
