Life Does Jed

67 notes

It’s been over 24 hours without the dew

Very small headache, but not as bad as the one you get when you argue with stupid people.

So my question is: what do I drink now? I have been at school all day, the students come back tomorrow, and I find myself wanting to sip on something. I have a water bottle with me, but I would like something with flavor. I can handle not having the caffeine, but what do I get when everyone goes to lunch? The reason I started drinking diet coke in the first place was because I didn’t want the calories, and I still don’t want the calories, so Internet please enlighten me.

  2. kirbydoeslife said: There is an awesome fruit flavored carbonated water I’ve only seen at a local grocer here in St. Louis. Message me your address and I’ll send you some.
  3. georgeismine said: I drink a ton of carbonated water. It gives you the same bubbly feeling as soda, but minus all the crap. It tastes best cold and you can even add a splash of juice to make it a bit tastier.
  4. srcdoeslife said: Mio.
  5. nnailling said: Beer always helps me deal with kids and headaches.
  6. mamalawlife said: Pellegrino water with flavored Sweet Leaf Liquid Stevia (google it). They have great flavors, including vanilla creme and rootbeer. Also, Arbonne makes great things called “Fizz Tabs” If you go to www.arbo…, you can find someone who sells it
  7. slantrhymr said: Mio. Zero calories or sugar, and it’s just added to your water. They make a bunch of good flavors too.
  8. whatrhymeswithemily said: NUUN!!!! Very good! Google it.
  9. sarahshrinks said: You know that sparkling flavored water stuff they sell at Walmart? It’s really good, and about a buck for a large bottle.
  10. despetitesvictoires said: Get to loving water! Or do an infusion (lemon slices in your water, or raspberry and mint etc).
  11. iminheresomewhere said: Water’s best, but for flavor, I love Fuse. 20 cal per bottle, no artificial sweeteners (flavored with fruit juice). Just be sure to get the Slenderize version. Pomegranate Acai is my fave flavor. Don’t know if you can get it in AR, but it’s in Iowa.
  12. aamber said: I love la croix sparkling water. Takes a little getting used to but now I’m addicted.
  13. chrystidoeslife said: Nuun.
  14. friendlikethat said: sparkling water with natural flavors (no aspartame etc)…costco sells whole flats in varying flavours…or vitamin water zero (sweetened naturally with stevia)
  15. runningbeautiful said: Sometimes flavored seltzer water does the trick for me! It still has the bubbles, but none of the bad stuff that goes with it — look for ones with natural flavoring so you don’t get all the added sugar.
  16. fat-to-fast said: seltzer or club soda with lemon/lime! I used to think it was gross, but the fizz tasted so good with a little citrus.
  17. michaeldoeslife said: Give it a couple of days of just water and that will be all you want. I occasionally have an unsweet tea at lunch but usually just water.
  18. josethompson said: Good for you!
  19. beckyc said: Water water water. I GUESS you could do crystal light or something but that would be just as bad as diet soda without the caffeine. Perhaps just adding a slice of lime or orange to it? Like fancy water? Or you could go for mineral water.
  20. noevidenceofintelligence said: I always missed the bubbles. So, I drink Sparkling Ice, Clear American, or whatever your grocery store’s knock off of Clearly Canadian is.
  21. chickensitters said: I say stick with water for a couple weeks and then branch out with lemon or orange slices in your water. Even cucumber/orange/lemon combo in a pitcher is great! Stay away from artificial stuff!
  22. runsforredvelvet said: Not sure if the caffeine is an issue or not, but I’ve been drinking Diet Cranberry Juice and Diet Sweet Tea (no sugar and no cals) - Or there’s always Crystal Light which they also sell pre-made or Diet Snapples! Diet Green Tea is my fave!!
  23. peejaymc said: Unsweet Tea. It’s an acquired taste, but it’s not bad after you get used to it.
  24. courtneyloveslife said: I am a diet coke addict hoping to be a former addict. I have been diet coke free for 22 days. I honestly thought I’d want to drink something other than water but I dont. Drink water like its your job!! :) the first 3 or 4 days are weird, but thats it
  25. melanieisdoinglife said: I really like sparkling water and you can get it with different flavor. I just like Perrier straight up, but they have it with lemon and lime. I think Talking Rain is a cheaper version
